Only room left for the night welches a $80 upgrade welches a four class upgrade to a suite which welches much bigger and had two TVs, so I took it, had no other Vorkaufsrecht. Walked into the room and if that welches a four class upgrade I would hate to see a regular room. Room was very small, only one TV. Don't get me wrong, hotel was very nice. Big screen TV,nice showers and towels, but felt very very very cheated. Along with the $52 for parking it welches like spending $600 a night for a small room.......Really??
Manierlich:: We went for the 4th of July holiday and felt so comfortable rein the small and warmly decorated hotel. Being such a crowded weekend, we never felt overwhelmed due to the hotel being near MIT and no school hinein session over the summer.
Negativ:: Poor acoustics and therefore very noisy rein hallways No option for heat even though the weather never got about 62 the week I I was there.
Manierlich:: The location welches perfect for us. The staff welches fantastic all the way around. From the bellmen to the Vorderseite desk to the concierge to the housekeeping staff, everyone welches absolutely first Tarif and top notch.
Fein:: Very close to 2 T lines,within 5 mins walk (green-Arlington and orange-Back Bay). Also lots of shops and restaurants are only a couple of minutes walk away as well.Hotel is really nice and value for money.It is very clean,and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Negativ:: We booked three rooms at this hotel because there were 6 of us and we all booked the same type of room but they tried giving one couple in ur party a smaller room, but they did fix it so that welches good. Also, the refrigerator hinein ur room was broken, but they also came and fixed that right away.
Negativ:: The location, hinein the center of Kendall Square, is difficult to park hinein. The hotel does have a small underground lot (which is great) but the fit is right. Despite a warning from front desk staff, we lautlos managed to nick the front bumper...
Bathrooms are seriously dated and rein need of complete redo. Service levels are mediocre. Business center is a joke (1 computer and an attached printer). Prices are very high: you are paying for the location.
Fein:: Having a kitchen and having the room divided into sort of 2 rooms. The new/modern decor with old renovated building.
The Gasthof had el fresco dining as well as a mauer of windows on North Street right across from Faneuil Hall. The lobby welches beautiful and very inviting. They even had a game section on the bookshelves for kids and families. The portico was very unique and mostly sheltered. The staff welches very polite and helpful. The view from the rooms with the little balconies was a beautiful touch. The mauer of windows hinein your room was wonderful. The late check out noon, the fact that they would store your This Site bags rein a locked room with a video monitor and would tagbyour bags they were holding like you were boarding a plane.
We called to let the hotel know, and they were very kind. Instead of charging us for half a day, they went and packed up ur room for us, and held ur luggage hinein the bell closet. The hotel was beautiful and the pillows and beds were some of the best I've ever slept in! Will definitely stay again.
Parked in the parking garage a block away for $22 for the weekend compared to the hotel wanting to charge me $51 to park per day kind of a no brainier. Weltgesundheitsorganisation's there was a Schwimmbecken or hot tub to relax hinein during our stay.
I stayed following an historic blizzard rein Boston, and being in that space, so warmly greeted, every need considered -- I can't say enough about how wonderful this establishment is. I would stay again, every time I'm rein Boston!
Jonathan at Vorderseite desk was the standout employee that made our stay even better. He had great tips, suggestions for sights & food and truly made us welcome.
